Let us introduce ourselves
A few words about us
Total Health Physio and Podiatry sees a team of senior level physiotherapists and a podiatrist who are proud to be part of the Silverstream community.
Our physiotherapists, Teresa, Brigette and Brittany, have been practising for 32, 17 and 7 years respectively. The physios have post graduate qualifications in different specialities including musculoskeletal physiotherapy, acupuncture and occupational health. They are also trained in teaching of Pilates.
Between them they believe in an encompassing and holistic approach to working with their clients.
Corrie the podiatrist has been practising for two years. He has a keen interest in biomechanics and general care. Working alongside Teresa on Mondays and Wednesdays – it is not uncommon for both Teresa and Corrie to work with clients together if it is appropriate.
How it all came to be…
New developments, new relationships
Teresa had the privilege of meeting with the development team behind the Silverstream project. Over the space of a year, conversations with a team of healthcare providers, each with the same service delivery ethos, committed to delivering an integrated hub of health services for the Silverstream and outlying community.
Today it sees Silverstream Kaiapoi Pharmacy, Silverstream Medical and Total Health Physio and Podiatry sitting side by side in the Silverstream Retail Centre.
The team of providers have strong working relationships, and that extends to specialists in the Canterbury Region as well. Between all of us we can ensure that clients will receive an excellent level of care and management of their health and well being.
